Southwestern Community College
Provides free services to low income 6th-12th graders who are potential first generation college students. The program provides career and college exploration, college campus visits, ACT Test Prep, financial aid application assistance, college and scholarship application assistance and guidance through the college process. May also provide ACT testing fee waivers and college application fee waivers for eligible students.

Services aim to help students acquire an Illinois high school diploma, formerly known as a high school equivalency certificate, and acquire English language skills for English language learners by offering language acquisition (ELA) classes. Will also help students with the transition into college or a career pathway by offering career readiness curriculum in HSE and ELA classes and assistance transitioning into on-the-job training, college, and careers.

Educational Talent Search
Identifies disadvantaged youth in grades 6-12 who have potential for post-secondary education, and encourages them to graduate from secondary schools and enroll in post-secondary education.
Services may include after school and tutorial homework assistance, career exploration activities, providing and assisting in completion of the ACT, college campus tours, and academic advising.
Staff encourages high school dropouts to return to school.
Participating schools:
- Middle Schools: Culler, Dawes, Lefler, Mickle, Park.
- High Schools: Northeast, Northstar, Lincoln High.

Provides programs and training for youth, including:
- Life skills training
- Peer mentorship
- Career readiness
- Tutoring and after school programs
- Dance and step programs
- Sports camp

Offers a 10-week program that guides ninth and tenth grade high school students in the exploration of diverse career fields. Students engage in conversation with volunteer speakers from various industries to develop digital literacy and interpersonal skills while engaging with real-world technology applications. Upon completion, students may earn 1-3 college credits.
