Housing counseling assists people who are homeless by making referrals and assessing their legal needs. Assists renters who are having problems getting things fixed, need help with landlord issues, or are facing eviction; work with HUD issues; assist home buyers or home owners with questions, etc.

Assists in the following areas, in addition to the programs already noted: Bankruptcy, Foreclosure, Landlord-Tenant, Utility Shutoffs, Public Benefits, Unemployment, Family Law (including Divorce, Custody/Visitation, Child Support, Domestic Abuse).

Staff help individuals determine their eligibility and assist their applications for the programs that the pharmaceutical companies have for the uninsured/under-insured. Also offers additional assistance with immediate medication costs/co-pays, depending on the situation.

Provides serves only for the homeless and/or recently incarcerated individuals.

Assists with job applications only, applying for social security and paying for a State ID and/or birth certificate.

Free Tattoo Removal Program.

Provides outreach and referral services to seniors and adults with disabilities, including:

- Assess clients' needs and make client referrals

- Help clients fill out and file application/documents required for various benefit programs, such as Medicare

- Advocate on behalf of clients to assure access to needed services

Assists low-income individuals and families in completing the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) application over the phone. Upon approval, SNAP provides monthly funds for buying groceries. The Hotline can also assist callers in finding a local pantry for immediate food needs.

- Tobacco Cessation Programs (Beat the Pack or Freedom From Smoking, also local information sessions)

Connects people (including immigrants, refugees, and vulnerable populations) with opportunities to strengthen economic growth in the community.

Offers:

- Legal assistance with work authorization applications.

- Workforce development support.

- Fostering economic development.

Case management for immigrant and refugees. Assists or refers with job applications, housing applications, DHS applications, medical applications, agency referrals, notarizations, and more.

Provides community events, adult classes such as English as a second language and citizenship classes. Also helps with applications and forms. 

SNAP (food stamps) application assistance.

Due to limited application staff, clients must call for assistance.
