Pre-Release education / re-entry preparation for men, women, and youth incarcerated and provides services for reentry and community re-establishment. Community support for families affected by incarceration through prevention and intervention program initiatives.

Volunteers are recruited and trained initially as pen pals, then developed into mentors upon the participant's release from prison. Volunteers are also trained to be mentors for at risk youth in the Juvenile Justice system, public schools, residential treatment centers, and aging out of foster care.

R.A.W. D.A.W.G.S. youth corps gang prevention program provides a positive alternative to gang membership for boys ages 5-13 through military type drills, developing positive social and academic skills and personal validation and self development. These positive personal attributes are demonstrated by positive male role models who lead the program. Call for information.

Crime Prevention Through Environment Design (CPTED) educates property owners on how to minimize their exposure to crime by implementing changes in the design of their property. Other crime prevention programs include Crime Free Multi-Family Housing Program, Crime Stoppers, and Neighborhood Watch. School Liaison Officer is service-oriented and provides law enforcement support from security to education in the city's school system. Community Service Technician Program focuses on code enforcement.  Non-sworn officers respond to parking violations, weed complaints, nuisance complaints, junk vehicle, snow removal issues, etc.

Youth Trauma Response Team collaborates with local trauma centers at CHI and Nebraska Medicine following violent incidents. School Outreach provides mentoring services at Omaha Public middle and high schools.  Street Outreach interrupts cycles of violence and offers mediation, conflict resolution and case management. Health and human service referrals to community based service providers.  Education and training offering individual, family and group workshops and presentations.  Distributes educational materials and hosts community rallies. Staff include approved Juvenile Probation Mentoring and Family Support.
