Acting as an agent of producer members, the Iowa Food Cooperative provides a web-based system for producers to post the foods and goods they have for sale, receives orders from consumer members, facilitates the delivery of these products to the cooperative’s distribution sites, collects money from the consumer members who have purchased these products, and forwards payments to the producers. At no time does the cooperative take title to any of the products.
Food Order and Delivery System is based on this website. It is a once-a-month ordering and delivery cycle. Must become a member to use this service. To find distribution sites outside of the Des Moines area please visit the website.
