Provides educational classes about mental illness for families, for adults living with a mental illness, and for the general public. NAMI provides support resources for family members and individuals affected by mental illness and provides advocacy training to help the public work to improve mental health resources. NAMI also works to improve current laws, legislation and promotes research. This is a locally led affiliate of NAMI Iowa and the national NAMI organization.
