Must meet one of the following: household income less than $69,000, adults age 60+, individuals with limited English-speaking ability, individuals with a disability
Required documents
Photo ID (for each tax payer and their spouse), Social Security cards (or ITIN letters) for the taxpayer, spouse, and all dependents, All tax documents such as FORM W-2 and Form 1099, Form 1098-T for all college students, Bank routing and account number (for direct deposit of refund)

IRS trained volunteers assist persons of all ages each year to prepare income tax forms at no cost. This is a partnership with the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

For 2026, the site is open February 6-mid-April - CLOSED March 15-23 for the University's spring break:

Tuesdays 3 pm-7 pm

Wednesdays 1 pm-5 pm

Thursdays 1 pm-5 pm

Fridays 1 pm-5 pm

Saturdays 11 am-5 pm
